Seth Irwin Ringold M.Ed., BCBA

About Me

I received my B.S. from Kent State University in 2005 as an Intervention Specialist for students with Mild to Moderate Disabilities and became a State Certified teacher in Ohio and Pennsylvania. I furthered my education at the University of Pittsburgh by receiving my M.Ed. in General Special Education in 2009. While at the University of Pittsburgh, I took the required courses to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and became a BCBA in 2011.

I currently maintain a Level Two certification in Pennsylvania to teach students in grade levels N-12 who require Special Education Services. I am a former high school special educator and am the Director of Transition Services for PA Connecting Communities, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit which services over 3,500 individuals with disabilities in five counties. 

I have continued my education by receiving my Ed.S. in Special Education from Kent State University in December, 2014 with a focus on teacher training.

Interests

My professional interest is in the fields of Behavioral Analysis, Transition services, and Teacher Training; with a focus on individuals who have high incidence disabilities. I also have a strong interest in preservice teacher attitudes regarding individuals with disabilities and inclusion.
